Get it = ideas for new or improvements to existing products and services. Do it = make the products, perform the services. Bill it = sales of products and services. Collect it = culmination of the entire process resulting in cash in the bank.
Whether you are involved in a large organization where the responsibilities are shared or you are an organization of one which requires you to do it all, to be successful, a business must acknowledge and master each phase of the process.
You sometimes hear the comment, "this really does not apply to me because I do not own or run a business". You bet it does!
We all want to earn more, do better, and play a constructive role in a success story. Ask yourself "what role do I play in the success of my company". What did you do today to help the bottom line...? Make contact with a new prospect? Go out of your way to help an existing customer? Come up with a new idea? Become more efficient? Make the job of your co-worker easier? Take advantage of a discount? Make sure a deadline was met? You get the idea.
